Iguá Saneamento announces signing of an agreement for the sale of assets to Norte Saneamento
Iguá Saneamento, controlled by IG4 Capital, announced today (06/30) the signing of an agreement for the sale of 11 small and medium-sized concessions to Norte Saneamento for R$466 million. This transaction reflects Iguá’s strategic direction of focusing efforts on large operations, with greater capacity to generate scale and value, strengthening its position in the market and boosting its growth.
The negotiation involves operations located in Andradina, Castilho, Palestine and Piquete, in São Paulo; Alta Floresta, Canarana, Colíder, Comodoro and Pontes e Lacerda, in Mato Grosso; and Itapoá and Tubarão in Santa Catarina. The transaction is subject to approval by CADE and other regulatory bodies.
The resources will be used to strengthen the company’s cash position, reducing net debt and providing additional resources for new investments.
Iguá maintains its commitment to sustainable, efficient and profitable growth, and will continue to explore quality financing opportunities in the market to support its expansion plans.
